Shorts – vintage (used to be my mum’s), cropped top – Kimberly Ovitz, sunglasses – Gucci, bag – DKNY, sandals – Antik Batik, silver & feather jewellery – various gifts.

So happy with the UK heatwave, as it was an excuse to walk around in ridiculously small shorts and catch a bit of sun. It also meant that I spent most of the weekend far far away from the evil monitors in the middle of Richmond Park. If you wish to see some pics of this beautiful place in Spring time, be sure to check out Bare Soul.

Wearing: Christian Dior jacket (also worn here),  Gucci sunglasses, Ralph Lauren trousers (also here), Twenty8Twelve tee, Roberto Cavalli scarf, Chanel bag (here and here), ASH flats.

Went for afternoon tea last Saturday to a less popular place nearby only to taste heavenly tea, flavours included Apple Loves Mint and Jasmine Dragon. Next time I pop by, I am going to see how well they make my fave beverage – chai latte – a strong flavoured tea with milk and spices.

The day was so tranquil, I’ll probably mentally transport myself to it everytime I am not comfortable with reality. Not necessarily a happy place but a happy day, yes.

Pitcher and Piano Food

Being fanatical about Richmond, I did not waste an opportunity to show off the area to my visiting friend. Although October is slowly running towards the end, the weather was uncharacteristically warm – eating outside in sunglasses warm. Speaking of food, I could not let Blondie leave without nom nom noming on a true British meal – fish and chips. Duh.

I wore a pale yellow top by Ralph Lauren, vintage oversized blazer by Armani, jeans by Twenty8Twelve, ASOS sandals (which you might remember from the 70s), leather bag (brandless in fact – got it from a leather craftsman back in Lithuania), Gucci sunglasses, silver and turquoise jewellery that the boyf got me from Alexandria.

This was a day before we randomly bumped into Patti Dahlstrom on our way to Tower Bridge.

Alas, it seems as my favourite Blondie leaves the country, so it does the sunshine this cold Tuesday morning, and I already miss both.

These are just a few shows from what proved to be a spectacular fashion week in Milan.

Some of the main trends:

  • Boho-gypsy – maxi skirts with deep slits;
  • Sailor girl, high time to earn your stripes;
  • Short tops, time to work on that fab abs;
  • Prints – clashing, matching, doesn’t matter, just print away;
  • Wear white, a lot or often if not daily.

Ciao, Milan – next stop Paris.
